i need ideas for a hitchhiker movie

I soon as I saw your post I had an idea..now of course it's gone...But since there have been movies where the hitchhiker was the killer and there have been movies where someone preys on hitchhikers..Maybe a "ring" type twist where you have to hitch a ride to stop a curse or to pass it on sort to speak!!!

What if the Drive by killer somehow mixes his murders by killing them so bruttaly that they cannot be identified but he leaves traces of another murder at the scene...
