So I have always wondered about this, regarding the intro to citizen Kane. As Kane lies dying, he mutters his final words 'rose bud'. A nurse comes in shortly but he is dead. So ... how the hell was in that room to hear his final words. I don't think he spoke loud enough for the nurse to hear him. Has this ever been explained?
