"Where has all the Laughter Gone?"

We just finished our new short "Where has all the Laughter Gone?" It's very short, but we haven't made a flick in quite some time and it gave me a chance to use my new camera. It's a grotesque parody of art house films. Not horror in the strictest sense, but bloody nonetheless. What does everyone think?

FUCK! Mike you deserve a d**n OSCAR for that. I watched it a good ten times, almost like a dark side of bozo the clown with a little bit of Curt Cobaine. It would have been great if you had a little bit of color, like the rainbow hair (only) mixed in with the blood and brains just the hair fragments in color.

Thanks! I was debating going with black and white and red, but in the end it looked more authentic with just B&W. I'll have some pictures of the behind the scenes up eventually, and you can see what the gore and clown looked like in color!

short and sweat, probably just like the clowns real life! I would have had him miss but it still looked cool. Nice work!

Thank you kindly! We were going to have him try several ways of killing himslef and failing, hanging, cut wrists, ect. but opted for the shorter and more violent end.

How did you get such a brutal effect with the 'brains' hitting the wall? Squib? Eh? Eh?

No, I just sat behind him on the floor and hurled a cup of gelatin, blood, flour, toilet paper and grahm crackers at the wall behind him. I had him nudge me with his foot when he was about to pull the trigger. We had to photoshop my hand out of 3 frames though.
