CustomFlix.com
Got distribution? No?
The NYCHFF has partnered with CustomFlix.com to offer two winning filmmakers an opportunity to publish and sell their own DVD worldwide. CustomFlix helps filmmakers find their audience online by placing the film on sites such as Amazon.com, Yahoo!, Froogle, eBay and major search engines, provides an online store with e-commerce and streaming media support, and when orders are placed, CustomFlix produces and ships orders directly to customers on-demand - saving filmmakers the traditional high upfront costs of creating inventory and making independent distribution of films a reality.
The NYCHFF is thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to the filmmakers. CustomFlix.com offers several different options for film makers that make it affordable for everyone to get their film or short out to the public on both VHS and DVD.
"We are honored to have been invited by the NYCHFF to particpate in this year's event," said John Geyer, Vice President of Marketing, CustomFlix. "We're especially excited to be reaching producers of horror films as we provide them a proven new avenue for success."
