Storyline
Candy and Cindy's parents travel out of town for the weekend leaving the two sister by themselves to do what they wish. Cindy with her friend decides to have some boys over to play. While Candy receives a cartoon DVD in the mail. Chaos ensues when Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin decide to move into the 3rd dimension and join in on the fun.
If anything else Terror Toons is a different type of film. First off I original thought that there be toons in this movie but in fact there wasn’t. The toons in question were men dress up in puppet costumes using blue screens to give it a somewhat cartoonish effect. With the meager budget director Joe Castro had to be a bit creative with filming. Castro didn’t try to make the film a masterpiece in fact he overly try to make the film obnoxious stupidly funny. The actors were very 2dimensional(For example Candy who obviously is 20 something acting like she’s 9 or 10 years old in the film and in the opening sequence playing with her rubber ducky in the tub was pretty pointless) and the toons are like BARNEY and Big Bird if they were made by Troma or maybe a poor mans itchy & scratchy duo. The plot goes further and further into craziness when “The Devil” shows up to tell Cindy of his devious plan. Cindy reveals herself as a superhero and ends up stopping “The Devil” plans or maybe not. You’ll have to see that for yourself. Troma fans may have a good time with this flick.
Low Budget Rating of 4/10
Positives
Lots of silly gore and dismemberment of intestines and other body parts
Troma like hilarity
Made the film in 3days
Negatives
Why the director decided to have a scene of strip Ouija and have no skin 2 win I don’t know ;D
An acquired taste
