The Halfway House starts off with a girl taking a brisk walk. When all of a sudden she gets taken away by a mask man tied up and we see this one eye monster appear.
The sister of the girl who disappeared in the beginning of the movie goes to the police to file a missing person report. When she hears that others girls have been disappearing she partners with the police detective to go undercover to find answers.
We get our share of characters in this exploitation film from perverted peeping tom janitor, the wicked witch of a nun played by Cult star Mary Woronov, and a whole slew perky attractive girls just dieing to get NAKED. But thats not all folks, lesbian scenes, priest that gets his jollys from spanking girls rears, and a
barrel of laughs are just around the corner.
This woman in prison(except in a halfway house) film takes us back to days of 70s when these kinds of movies was quite popular. And for what it is it surpasses all other exploitation films to date.
