Maria Hunter watches as her parents are killed off by blood thirsty vampire. Later she finds her brother killed off by that same vampire. With all her love ones gone and a sense of anger she seeks out to avenge the death of her family members. She goes on a killing spree to take out all the vampires and kicks butt doing it with running commentary to her inner thinking. The empty spot left in her soul after her family deaths become an insatiable crusade to eradicate every single one of them.
Bloodlust delivers with some comedic one liners, action scenes killing off a slew of everyday vampires, and general vampire lore. Obviously when your talking about a female character who fights off vampires you think of Buffy and writer/director Michael Kazlo II even making a reference to Buffy in the film("What are you Buffy"). While there are some parrellels to Buffy Bloodlust delivers more laughs, action(although more low budget), and sound effects. Bloodlust in my opinion was a fun ride that you can pop into any dvd player and be entertained with.
