I'm a scriptwriter that can write just about anything. Horror is very easy for me. I have a couple scripts (feature length) and several horror shorts (four comes as a collection called "Maledemia" making a four story anthology).
I write quickly and for great story quality. I have hundreds of ideas to throw around and will ghostwrite other people's ideas upon request.
Do you have problems with script holes, lack of ideas to finish a script, or are worried about good pacing? I can always advise and/or finish scripts as well. I can help with editing and script rewrites, too.
For more information contact me at thanabotha@aol.com or AWEent@aol.com.

Characterization...
Here's the method I use to help create believable characters from the ground up. (Hopefully I help because everyone has different strong points and weak points. If you tell me what you feel yours are, I could probably help out a lot better).
First I take the idea. (Most of my characters spring from this rather than the other way around.) Ideas usually tell you what type of main protag and antag are and give you an idea of atmosphere. It's important that your characters promote your atmosphere and plot.
Next I write up a brainstorm list of things that I'd find unique and interesting about a character. Like: female, brunette, green eyes, underwent her first period early for some strange reason (8 years old), on that night she gets a vist from a tranzi-style wraith (hermaphroditic), leaves her with ability to speak with the dead (and nightmares coming from where?), this causes her to be a neurotic teenager, totally frightened of cemeteries were "the dead speak the loudest", etc... until I know her very well.
To add to this list. Next, I break the list into the following catagories: inner/outer motivation (I write these simply and make them up not only on reflection of plot, but to get to know her better; for example: "trying to become a cheerleader" and "uncover the police report that has been lost on the Oakridge murders"), physical description, personality, special skills/talents. I give her idiosyncracies (thinking about "neurotic"), I may think "plays with her hair when nervous" and "bites her bottom lip unconsciously." Lastly, and important for dialogue, I write up a few key phrases that she'd use, or sentices that she'd deliver. Examples: (I decided that because she's nervous, she stutters and says "um" a lot.) "Ssh, Mason... Jesus, I-I'm trying to concentrate here," or, "Um... but I don't know. I just don't. I can't believe you guys think... think that I'm this 'oracle'. I-I'm not okay, so f**k off!"
(Just for info purposes, the examples above from a character of mine named Lacey. She's is in my novel "The Sacred Dark" which is running its coarse through publishers now. The 'menstration at an early age' part can really happen. It's been documented. Which brings me to my last point for now: extract 'detials' from real life, psychology shows in mags, shows or newspaper and sociological issues in similar sources. Look for details that you find fascinating. When I was put in a hospital for "attempted suicide" I met a Veteran of Vietnam who dug in ashtrays for butts to chew on the tabacco and a girl who slashed herself on every inch of her body in a fit of desperation. Good stuff. And these details helped bring some of my favorite characters to life.)

Ghost is now Thanabotha. I've been in Iraq for awhile and haven't had much chance to come back. Then I forgot my password....
Oh, well.
My email has also changed. It's EyeoftheRaven@hotmail.com.
