I find this place to be an interesting outlet for my talent of screenwriting. I write fairly quickly, and know what it takes to create a good story. If you have an idea, I can write to it. All I need is an idea of what parameters you have to work with, and I'll write to them.
My only request if I write a script for you is my name is the credits and a copy of the completed film.
Here's a long-winded history (I'm a writer -- I am inevitably long-winded in writing):
I began writing in 1992 in the form of musical composition. I wrote a couple of pieces for concert band, and one was played in a rehearsal. After graduating high school, I discovered musicals, and wanting to write music and tell a story, I wrote a musical called Amehr with a friend of mind completing it, finally, in 1997 (mostly because he was slow at delivering material). In 1998, I wrote a musical called One Night (book, music, lyrics) completely on my own, hoping to produce it in 2000, but never did due to lack of cast. From 1998-2001, I knew some guys from Sweden with which I collaborated in all aspects of writing book, music, and lyrics of a musical called Ron and Julie until it was produced in Sweden in May 2001.
From 1998-2000, I was involved in a playwriting group in a little theatre that did plays. I wrote a short play called the S&M Library (it was kind of a sketch show about the goings on in the Southern & Metro Library - yeah, people get that confused all the time). It was produced in December of 1999, and while I was supposed to be paid, the guy who was to divvy up the payments disappeared shortly after the run with my $50. Oh well.
In 2001, I was surfing and found some screenplays. I considered many of my older ideas for stories that would be difficult on stage, and thought I'd have a go at screenwriting. My first scripts were written back to back, and I was obsessed with horrors and thrillers (had watched every Alfred Hitchc*ck I could get my hands on). The Soul Keeper was a thriller that is currently in a constant state of rewrites. Vengeance was written to be a stereotypical slasher, and I've been told it is a good script that succeeds in being just that.
After these, I read more and conceived of a storyline eventually called The Fempiror Chronicles, which currently has three completed screenplays, a TV pilot, and four other episodes written. I have plans for 3 more movies at least as well as some spin offs that don't follow the primary character in the core story.
In May 2005, I got in contact with a guy from Australia who had an idea for a movie and wanted someone to write it. I thought, "Why not? I'm all for writing something that will get made." I start sketching out the story, and he springs on me (after two weeks of tinkering with the storyline) that he wants it in two weeks. I hadn't written a word. I delivered Alien Proof on time. I think it has some weaknesses, but overall, not bad. I got my DVD. I was told only boys 12-16, a house, the yard, and a spaceship. I did pretty good with that.
Then I run across CTF Films on Simplyscripts, where I found the last guy, and he wants shorts. I banged out a short in 30 minutes and handed it over. I checked out his site and found he wanted a writer for a screenplay (that I've completed). While tinkering with that story, I run across Poison X's request for a screenwriter. For him, the muse was easier in coming to me, and I have already completed the first draft of Dead.
