i was wondering if anyone could help me out, i need some advise, im a 17 year old director and screenplay writer, im making a big movie in november and im getting a new video camera for it, i need digital because the film will require digital editing etc i need one with good sound and alot of recording time lol, i dont know wha im doing when it comes to cameras, ive seen a cannon camera for 2700 but thats way to expensive, i was wondering if any body could recommend a good digital camera for less then £900 or the american equivlent of, it would be much appriciated thankyou

You'll want an external mike as the camera mikes are not too usefull. Make sure your camera has a plug for an external mike, you can pick one up fairly cheap and it makes a BIG difference in sound.
