hi all, i have an old pc which im using which isnt worth talking about its so useless. anyway, when i start my horror film (soon), i will need a new pc/mac to edit my film using decent software. im quite rusty on pc specs these days, so if anyone could give me some specs for a good system that i would need for video editing i would be extremely grateful. thankyou

I have a Pentium 4 at 2.6 GHz with an 800 MHz Front-Side Bus. It's on an Asus motherboard, and I have 768 MB of Dual DDR PC3200 Ram. I'm running Windows XP and use Adobe Premiere. I've run Premiere in one session at a length of about 13 hours and it didn't crash once. I've been nothing but ha[[y with the stability and everything of it. I put it all together for about $450. If you already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers, you're set... Good luck!
