Why are so many people against SAMSUNG camcorders? What is wrong with them?

I don't know ? I have one and they are a pretty good camera. The pictures good and the sound is clear. I never heard that people were against them.

I have a Samsung SCL700 NTSC 8mm Camcorder HI 8 model. I think its a pretty relaible camcorder.
