I want to buy a camcorder

I've been planning on buying a camcorder, and I've got a few hundred to spend. Does anyone know the price of those camera they just on news report and stuff. If so, does anyone know where I can find them?

The cameras TV stations use for news cost between $5,000-30,000, so I don't think you're few hundred dollars is going to get you one.
