Has anyone used the Panasonic Camcorder (PV-GS150) yet? I was thinking about buying it since it is a 3ccd, and it's about as cheap of a 3ccd that you can get. I want to get some info. on it first before I buy it. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that it was so light. I use a reg. mini dv camera now, but it's 2 years old and weights a little more. I think that a camera should have some weight for doing certain shots, but I might be wrong. Someone please let me know any info. you know about this product. Thanks

Camcorderinfo is the best site I have found for reviews. Check this link for info on that particular model www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Panasonic-PV-GS150-Camcorder-Review.htmOn the weight issue, I prefer a lighter model myself, there's no use lugging a hefty piece of deadweight around if the image quality from a lightweight will do the job. If you need a heavier machine for some shots (not sure what you mean by that) then you might try attaching some weight to the tripod attachment screw?

I own one! It's a fantastic camera! The lightwieght takes a little getting used too, I'll be the first to admit I like a heavier camera, but the picture quality is amazing, especially for the price! The only problem I've had thus far is shooting in low light areas...the picture is a little grainy, but as long as you use some lighting, it really isn't too much of a problem. I highly recomend it though!
