I am going to be shooting a short soon and wondering if anyone has any advice on recording sound to a seperate digital device. I am going to have a sort of home-made boom mic, but would also like to record an audio "back-up" in case the sound gets botched or glitches when it comes time to edit and so I could also use it to record sound effects and interesting sounds for movies. I have about $150-$200 to spend and was thinking about using a Sony Digitial voice recorder. Does anyone know what I could use? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks -mike
