Hello, found this place while doing internerd research for fake blood recipes! I've just bought a dv camera and I'm planning a short film called Slow Descent, about a couples' relationship breakdown - and they're both turning into zombies. It's all going well so far, got actors sorted (friends paid with pints of beer), ideas aplenty, I've even writeen music for it. My main concern is the editing aspect, so I was hoping for some advice as to software packages for my pc. I thought that this messageboard would be a good place to document what was going on with the movie as I'm making it. Yeah, that's about it I think. Adobe Premiere is the package I use, it's not too expensive (mine came bundled 'free' with my Pinnacle capture card) www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html or you might try Avid Express DV www.avid.com/products/xpressdv/

Either of those should give you all the editing options you need. You could also buy an older version to save some money.

Cheers for that I'll definitely look up adobe. Had loads of fun last night, got 'zombied-up' (as a screen test for my make-up you understand, lol) and got my pic taken, I'll have to post them up here. God knows what people walking past thought!
