Hey.

I'm a n00b to this board, obviously, and I am currently working on my first movie. I guess I'll talk about it in the appropriate thread/forum.

I am an awesomely huge fan of horror movies. My biggest inspration and directing partial-ness has to lie within the esque of Silent Hill. The game. I mean, nothing of the horror genre has given me the feelings as that series does.

My all-time favourite genre would have to be zombie. I'm sorry, but that is seriously... oh man. Favourites are the first black/white Night of the Living Dead, Zombie Flesh-Eaters, and of course Return of the Living dead. And yes, I am looking forward to Shaun of the Dead. =P

I also very much so enjoy Low
budgets. My favourite has to be Psychomania. (although, I like them mostly to laugh at ) Anything with Misty Mundae is an instant favourite. I just love her. *grins*

welcome to the boards..good selection of flicks...if ya like zombie flicks..i know of a ton of them and can steer ya in the right direction if ya wann acheck them out...

Hmmm... Well, I would definatly like to...

But, I live in Corpus Christi, Texas. 'Fraid there's not a store for 300 miles that'll send me anywhere near a shop that sells 'em... Wen I head down to LA this summer, Then I'll check for 'em. Thanks.

cool...well i live in Gainesville Texas..a little redneck assed town about 60 milesnorth of dallas...hard for me to get these flicks as well...but ya learn the places...

By the way...im hoping with the help of others to be bringing a horror convention to texas next summer....An dif your interested in getting into movies at all...we may be filming down there in that area around that time as well...

I usually stock up when I go out of town, or get me dad to send me a few of his--he is the guru of all horror. He's a little shakey on the new stuff, but he can name and probably owns any non-recent movie you can think of. I grew up on them.

That would definatly be something. And you mean filming around Corpus? I really would like to... Buuuuut not much of a serious actor. In fact, in my own movie, I act as only comedic relief and I killed my character off in the 5th scene. All I'm good for is ideas, and plus, my strict pickyness worthy of a shakespearian-critic will filter and filter... It would really be just more trouble than it's worth... I prefer to be behind the camera, but thanks a load for the offer(?). ;D

if you like zombie films, check out 'Undead' or 'Versus' - dont know if either have been released in the northern hemisphere though
