Hey, I am making a gory low-budget horror film and was wondering what you guys would expect to see in a low-budget horror film.

something ... unexpected! Something that doesn't quite stick to the typical genre material i suppose.

I always find that when you ask that question people immediatly think of movies, and end up ripping off a movie by just twisting something. I think a better way to ask that, is either just by asking, "What is something you would like to see?" or "What's the gorest thing you've ever scene/ would like to see?" and working off that. But anyways, back to you. How about someone getting there face shoved into a blender. Or I'd say someone getting "p*nised" to death...but i don't know if I'd want to see that, but more of, how and why that would make sense in the movie If you were a big hollywood producer...i'd say a movie with a good plot and ending.

I like to see Horror that's Scary so much of it Today seems to be sugar coated. like we can't do that cause it might offend someone. most everything ends up like a Monster movie of the week. I say try and Freak someone out if it does not work at least you tried.

What I'd really like to see in a horror film is....... My Music! Do you know of any horror filmmakers who could use an original theme song or some background music? Let me know. My website www.garageband.com/artist/jfhorrorsoundtracks

I know this is been overdone many times in the horror genre, but I'd just like to see a scary looking assaliant and a cool chase scene.

Low Budget should not effect the quality or originality of the story.
It should include mis-direction, unexpected shocks, an antagonist and a protagonist and a cool ending. Not what is expected.
Blood and gore is fine but it is not the only from of the genre.
I like to feel exhausted from the ride when I watch a good horror.
My choice of recent ones are ‘Creep’ and ‘Descent’.
