Hi there,
A little about myself - - recent college grad in cinema studies and journalism. I'm really into campy, zombie horror flicks. My favorite thing to do on a slow evening is drink a bottle of red wine and watch a horror film.
Right now, I'm working as a nanny (go figure) while I decide what I really want to be when I grow up. In my spare time, I read and make notes of all kinds of horror movies. All in all, I'm a scary movie junkie... can't get enough of the stuff.
Hope to meet some people, make some friends, and share some ideas.

Visit the other sections of this board (e.g. Horror Films, Directing, or Classified sections) and find out which members of this website you have something in common with creatively and find out ways in which to get your film career started. Believe me, I know how scary it is to graduate from university and have no idea of where to start. But right now, my career is starting to pick up somewhat. I emphasize "somewhat." Also where are you from? The members here are spread across the U.S., Canada, U.K. as well as many other places. So if another filmmaker is near by its always good to colloborate with like minded people.

Let's see... I went to school in Boston... but I just recently moved back home to Virginia. Right now, I am working (just to make money) - nothing to do with cinema; but I have a very strange schedule. I work three weeks, then I'm off for three weeks.
Needless to say, I find that I have a lot of spare time on my hands. So, I'd like to start a project of some sorts.

I'm from both the Williamsburg and Richmond areas. Where in VA did you visit, Travis?
On a different note... I must say, I love this time of year. Because it's so close to Halloween, there are great dvd sales on horror flicks - good prices and decent selections. Just this week, I must have bought 8 movies. I love it.

i agree...i love this tiem of year as well..went to wally world and spent 200 bones on horror flicks..and got about 300 movies out of it....rock!!
