Hi
I’ve just discovered this little site of horrors from my easy chair in the UK.
Turns to the sound of FOOTSTEPS behind. A hand touches my arm as my wife positions a mug of coffee beside the keyboard.
Yes I write Horror screenplays. I only started last year when I retired from business and already have two going into production in 2006. One in the UK and one in Canada.
Ain’t life great.
Will scream again – soon!
And yes I like Pink Floyd.

Ron, that's great to hear about your screenplays going into production. I've had some stuff on inktip, but never posted anything on trigger street before. Can you give some details about the feedback process on that site? Welcome to the boards.

Hi TriggerStreet can be bitter sweet. But the idea is cool. First it’s free and with some free software to convert your files to pdf files and other links. After you join you get assignments to do reviews on other members scripts. When you’ve done two or more you can upload one of your scripts, which in turn will be assigned to others. Each time you do a review you receive credits to receive more reviews on your own work. Your assessment of a script contributes to a ranking system and the same will happen to your scripts. Currently there are over 40,000 members and about 2,400 scripts on the site. There is a Top Ten created by reviews and the Top three each month enter the Academy. I’ve managed to get two into the Top Ten but not stayed there longer enough to reach Academy status. As you contribute more to the site your own position moves up from Beginner to Advanced User and a few privileges are added along the way. There is a Hall of Justice and if your review does not meet certain criteria it can be challenged, as you can challenge reviews of your work. At the start I said bitter sweet. The Bitter part is some reviewers are real WAZOS and some scripts would make great Z minus rated movies but all in all it’s fun. You can also review and upload short films – I gave up watching them after my first week! The address is www.triggerstreet.com
