Hello everyone!
My name is Ben Robinson, and I'm a film-maker / Lighting Cameraman from London.
I have been into Horror films since PSYCHO gave me insomnia at the age of 7, and have made a few stabs at making my own since the age of 10. I'm now 32...
This year I submitted the fake horror trailer SLASH HIVE to Robert Rodriguez' GRINDHOUSE 101 competition at SXSW Festival in Texas. I also shot and produced another fake horror trailer for the same competition: TRANNIBAL FLESH FEAST. Both films can be found on youtube, and I would welcome any feedback.
So now we're working on a 15 minute horror short in London, to be shot on super-16mm with a budget of approximately £15,000. After that, we're gonna go for a feature! I've waited long enough...so the time's a comin'!.......
I joined this group to talk to other like-minded individuals pursuing the same ambition. It's important we all work out what's going to be successful, and what's not worth wasting time over.....then we can all enjoy the same success that SAW, HOSTEL and all those other flicks have done in recent years....
