:oSo we are on the Low Budget Horror Movie Site. SO does anybody know how low is low budget. No I’m not talking about home movies but real ones. Ones that can be sold and make money?

lowest i ever heard was $10,000 but i think mad people sell there movies online.

im making a movie with no-budget and selling them for $5. I f you dont have money and you make the movie just go out with it show it to people somehow i dont know how your going to do that part and get rep up for the movie and sell it over the internet.

Two famous low-budget films i can point out are 'Detour' (Probably about $900) and 'The Stink Of Flesh' both could not be more chaep! So I suppose it's quality not quantity.

Hell if you have $50 and make soemthing cool, put it on the net and sell it for any amount of money, people will see it. Look at all the dumb viral internet vids! If you make something og qaulity, you can make some cash and gain some noteriety. Besides, the less money you spent making it, the more profit you can turn!

i would say you would probably need atleast$5,000 to have a professional looking movie, concidering the actors knew how to act. But i think anything about now is better than stupid Holliwood! I want to make a movie where godzilla goes and rips down the hollywood sign! stupid over payed basterds!

the highest budget for a low-budget film is five million; Silent Night, Deadly Night had almost 4 million. The lowest is like six thousend; Night Of the Living Dead (1968).
