Hey guys,
I'm making a film about the apocolypse and I need a character to walk into the bathroom and turn on the tap but blood comes out instead of water (duh duh duh) and when they look up their mirror reflection morphs into a demon's face is there a cheap and non staining way to do this

stainless steel sink hooked up to an air compressor at a low setting with the blood pumping through that way make a dummy wall for about 25$ at home depot and the sink can be around 10$ at a junkyard

Ok I'm way to tired to go into detail on this idea but what about a modified blood squirter? We have all seen air powered "squibb". Why not do something along those lines but with less psi and more blood. Something like:
Air supply with a valve. Valve runs to blood reservoir. This should be made of something able to be pressurized to a small degree safely but should never be under pressure more then a few seconds. A hose should lead to the fixture you want bleeding. When the actor "turns on" the water the valve is turned on and the reservoir drains into the sink. Make sure to bleed the system first so the blood comes on the second the actor turns it on.

I'm also tired and yet this seems simple enough. Use gravity. 1/4 to 1/2 inch line feeding down to the sink. Open the valve and the blood should flow depending on how dense it is. Either thin it or maybe add a little pressure to the canister. Bicycle pump should work unless you want high pressure.
