Ok I am not a prude and have no problem with swearing. I cuss like a sailor at times but I try to not do it in front of my kids. So whenKI first went to Indy Mogul I read the rules and they said that cussing was ok as long as you do not cuss at anyone. So I signed up knowing that the biggest part of their fanbase were children.
One poster called me an f'ing idiot and all I did was suggest a different way to do a self filling cup effect. His idea was fine and would work but I felt mine would allow more angles for the shot. I never got smart or anything of that nature. So I reported it. And everyy other post he made when they all contained the f word for no reason other then to use it.
The mods told me they were watching him but that he had not broken any rules. o.O
Their rules stated no attacking other members yet now the mods were calling me names for reporting him? Reguardless of if you think I am or was whining about the language used there kids should not be subjected that kind of abuse by mods of a forum.
The effects there are not even that original.

I use the Indy Mogul forums myself, and I agree. There's an insane amount of attacking on there. Everyone there seems to feel they are some how "super star filmmakers", but if that were true, you have to wonder why the hell they'd be watching Indy Mogul. The show contains methods for terrible effects (for the most part), although they occasionally put something half decent on that you could modify into a practical prop/etc.
I've noticed that 90% of the effects they tutorial are primarily copyright protected stuff, such as "Spiderman web shooter" or "wolverine claws", rather than universally useful props/equip.
All that said, I still find myself watching it, and partaking in the forums. However, a far superior show online is FilmRiot. It's both entertaining and informative.
