Nineteen Eighty One Films is looking for short film scripts which can be produced on a micro-budget. We are open to just about any genre (no hardcore porn, and nothing political, please!), as long as the script is well-written and budget-minded. Ideal length of finished films is 5-15 minutes, so scripts must also be written with this in mind.
We are a new and truly independent production company, so don't expect to get rich selling us your ten-page dramatic short. What we can promise, however, is that if we purchase your screenplay, your film will be produced, it (and you) will get plenty of promotion online, and you will get a portion of any ad, distribution, and licensing revenues it generates.
