I've been producing/film making for awhile and my favorite part of the process is screening my work for people, but since I don't make Hollywood Blockbusters that make it into theaters, I typically have to rely on Film Festivals to screen my work. Now film festivals do a lot of great things... IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED. But what if you are apart of the 100's (sometimes 1,000's) of people that don't get accepted, what did you $30-$150+ entry fee get you? NOTHING... not even an official rejection letter (most of the time).
To help combat this, I have decided to start an online film festival that requires NO ENTRY FEES... that's right you don't have to pay ANYTHING. On top of that, ALL SUBMISSIONS will be reviewed on Nitroblitz.com, so worst case scenario atleast your film gets some publicity. ON TOP OF THAT, the winner gets $500 Cash!
I run Nitroblitz.com and we are hosting our very first online short film festival. All genres are qualified and there is no entry fee... the only stipulation is that the short film has to be under 15 minutes.
