We are currently looking for horror genre scripts to acquire. Here are the mandates for feature length script submissions: - Must be able to shoot in Los Angeles -Must be able to be produced for a budget of $100,000 to $150,000 maximum - Writer must be NON WGA - Must be willing to sell the script for a flat fee, all in. We are willing to offer up to a maximum of $5,000 - NO extreme violence, over the top gore, heavy VFX or degradation of women - Limited locations (1 to 3 locations is ideal) We are especially looking for storylines about hauntings, possesions, intruders. (Think along the lines of Insidious, The Innkeepers, Paranormal Activity, The Purge, Sinister.) The film I am interested in directing and producing are along the lines of psychological thriller/slasher fright films is something that does not try to gross out the audience from the get go. I think a perfect example of overall looking I'm shooting for is the SAW TRILOGY, minus the excessive blood .I ask for the scriptwriters experienced or not to write up a 3-4 page scene dialogue and I ll explain to you the setting and characters as I go along . There are 2 black guys in their 20's they are used as subjects to a deranged twisted psychological killer who gives them a chance to live.
If you have the imagination and brainstorm to make it realistic and see my vision of what I want let us know. In my opinion that in order to truly terrify an audience, you must make them believe that the situation that is unfolding in front of them could possibly befall them if they are not careful. I'm sure many of you would agree that in the day of age we live in, indeed the scariest things are what we experience in our lives. I have the basic idea, some sketchy scene ideas and friends willing to play the roles, just need someone to help link my ideas and help with structure and dialogue. I want it to be a movie that'll just reach inside u and scare the crap out of you as believable and convincing as it can be
Subject 1(Derek) awakens in a double bed with a choker collar around his neck with chains connected to his wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs which can cause electrocution o his body and in front of him is a TV screen with a videogame console not far from where he is lying down with a control joystick on his hand he must play a fighting game best of 6 rounds against the killer (computer) one vs one life or death match when he enters the challenge as terrified as he is you decide if you want him to pass this level or not!
Subject 2(Jesse) is a gay female subject is forced to have sex with a str8 male subject and time is an hour counting down before they get killed and the convincing is a struggle and she must give herself in so they don t lose their lives .
