I would like to announce a new feature length film now in pre-production entitled DARKSLIDE!



Synopsis: Damen Krow is a young man with Asperger's syndrome who plays guitar and works at a sawmill. He has severe trouble making connections in his life. One day, he meets a young woman named Naomi Sinclair. She is his first real friend, and introduces him to the possibilities of human connection. Out of nowhere, she is kidnapped, and disappears from his life. Will Damen overcome his fears and vices as he slides deeper down into the dark?

We have started production on this film, with our first scheduled shooting day being a great success. We covered 2 pages in roughly 12 hours.

The Darkslide team would like to present our second Indiegogo campaign update! This update answers two common questions we have been getting about the film: 'Is Darkslide a horror movie?' and 'What is a Darkslide?' It also dives into what the storytelling influences are for the film.

With 32 days left on the campaign we are extremely grateful for all of the contributions and support so far! We could not have made it this far without you help, so please continue to help sharing the campaign and help spread word about Darkslide!!

UPDATE MAY 19th 2015: Darkslide Picture's first feature film project entitled DARKSLIDE is now over half way completed! We are using a hybrid process in the creation of this film where the editing, writing, and shooting of the film are all happening at once in an ever evolving world!

DARKSLIDE is scheduled for release in the beginning of 2016 through online streaming services! All those that have donated to the project so far and before it's completion will receive the film free of charge!
