Following the success of Resident Evil($140 million worldwide)transfer from game to film. Gaga Communications has picked up the rights to Devil May Cry. "Devil May Cry is an action game whose half-human, half-demon hero, Dante, battles demons in the human world together with his female companion Lucia. The game has been a huge hit in North America and Capcom intends to exploit this popularity with a major Hollywood film." Strange being a gamer and not hearing of this, but then again I didn't know they made an Evil Dead game.
The problem is games make horrible movies. And yes I did hate resisdent evil. I think the reason is because games are based mostly on action moving the story. Movies tend to be story moving the action. God I hope that made sense.

I agree with you Resident Evil was poorly done in my opinion. Devil May Cry may have the same fate as the game didnt have a strong story to begin with. My guess is their going to make it special efx laden effort with very little story to comprehend a la Matrix Reloaded.
