Crazed Weasel Entertainment is currently working on a Freddy fan film. It is based in the junkyard where Freddy's bones were buried in "Dream Warriors". Essentially, after being beaten by Jason Voorhees, Freddy is looking for another way to come back. He decides to use his final resting place as a springboard back into the world of nightmares. I am over-simplifying the story, but that's pretty much the gist of it. We started filming last Sunday in a very cool looking junkyard, though we couldn't find one with the cars stacked as high as in "Dream Warriors". The next shoots are November 6th and 7th. We have two gloves for this pick, both of which were made by Anders Erikson at www.nightmaregloves.com. He does AWESOME work, so I had to work in a plug. I'll post pics and a link to the teaser as soon as they're ready.

Is that one of the gloves from www.nightmaregloves.com ? I like Freddy, he looks sinister there. Good luck with the film!

Yes, that's the VS. Hero glove from www.nightmaregloves.com. We also have a decayed version of the same glove that we use in the film which looks like it could have been buried in the junkyard since Nightmare 3. Glad you like the Freddy.

Thanks. The web site should be ready in the next week or so. We're actually working on a re-edit of our "Halloween: The Boogeyman" film to make it look a little better.
By the way, I really liked "Legends". The Jason action kicked ass.

Filming this past weekend was delayed due to some bad weather. d**n New England weather! It shouldn't snow before Thanksgiving!
Good news is, it's supposed to be warmer this week and into the weekend so hopefully, the snow will melt and we'll have good enough weather to finish this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

A quick update for you on our progress. With more than 2/3 of the film shot, we unfortunately have had to succumb to New England weather and delay the remainder of shooting until at least March 2005. It just got too cold to have cast and crew outside for the whole rest of the shoot. Plus this past Sunday it was very wet and running a lot of extension cord and lights when it's even misting out can get dangerous.
The good news is that there are only a few scenes left to film and what we've shot so far, in my opinion, looks really good. This film has NOT been abandoned! It will be finished, we just need to delay for a bit. We have too much invested in this film in time and money to not finish it. We just hit some unavoidable scheduling problems that delayed us until finally Mother Nature could no longer cooperate.
The good news is, we will have a teaser up in the next few weeks. I'll post the link as soon as it's ready. I'll also post more pics as I can get the stills from the editor. We'll also be editing what there is of the film so that we can be ready to add the scenes we shoot next year and release the film in the spring.

Check out the teaser poster for "Hallowed Ground", provided by Anders Erikson of www.nightmaregloves.com: We're still working on getting a teaser AND a full trailer ready for our web site. As it stands, the last few scenes will be shot in early Spring once the New England weather becomes tolerable again. Stay tuned.
