I Really Wanna Do A Remake Of A Horror Flick... Now I Cant Decide Between "I Know What You Did Last Summer" & "The Ring". Now Sum ppl will agrre w/ me on this....Ring Wasnt That Scary, CREEPY, but not scary. And I Havent Seen Any Of Those Films Ever Being Remade. If I Do The Ring I'll End Up Probably Just Doing The Beggining Scene (Which is my favorite... Great Filming!) but if I Do I Know What You Did Last Summer, I'll Remake The Whole Movie. Starting From Scratch... Just Keep The Main "Accident" Idea. In Production I Have 3 Remakes... Top Secret Tho! LoL. Please Let Me Know Which Of These Films Should I Remake. Or Do You Have Another Film In Mind? PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Thanks

Since The Ring is a remake to Ringu and I didn't really like the Ring I would do I know what you did last summer.

why not both?
i mean, i didn't like either versions of 'the ring', so why not remake that
i did like 'i know what you did last summer', but it would be interesting to know your idea of a remake

Thanks For The Feedback. I Might Just Do "I Know...". Cause I Think Its A Better Plot For "Teens" To Make... Dont You Think?

my question has been answered! i am dyin to see this, i cant wait to see ALL of your top secret projects, what's the secret, did you score a deal with a studio to film one of these huge remakes? first of all both ideas are awful, you want to remake 2 films, one which only came out 2 years ago and the other 6 years ago or so, why? cause you have ideas that you'd like to see, that are different than what you were forced to see by the studio's right! well that's exactly what i am trying to do as well, only thing different is that i would have actually given your ideas a chance to earn merit before i started to bash them, you like to write that i sound like "I" have everything under control, you sound to me like a kid with a couple of freinds who are gonna run around in the woods with a camcorder and rain coat on, whispering " I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER " oooooooooooooo! spooky! leave this to the big boys and go put some clearacil on! REAL genre fans allow people to express themselves, and fanfilms are just that! films created by fans for fans! and of course everyone has the right to their opinion, but at least do the research and once you see the trailer, then if you must! give your opinion, until then keep your assumption of what you THINK i may be doing with my film to yourself, im making an adult horror film, with some genuine scares, not your run of the mill teens getting killed same old stupidity

It was on another thread. 69 is getting himself out of shape over something Boitek wrote. Personally, I think he had the wrong end of the stick, but it looks like it's getting uglier with each successive post.

Okay First Of All I Didnt Even Say Your Trailer Sucked! I Just Noticed This. What I Said Was... "AHHHH!!!!! I WANNA SEE THIS TRAILER!!! IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT IT ALL UNDER CONTROL! LOL! Please Let Us Know When The Trailer Is UP! " .... How Is That Being Mean OR Bashing You? Your Just Sum Little Kid Who Loves Trouble.

Personally, I would like to see your version of both films. I really enjoyed both films mentioned (although I never saw the original Ringu) but someones elses interpretation would be interesting. A friend of mine brought up the idea of a SAW fan film but I really have never been interested in making fan films. But who knows, may be something fun to do.
And, Shape1969, what was the point of your last post? It really made no sense here at all. If this is a continuing argument from another thread, please keep it in that thread. It's get confusing and distracting. Anyhow, maybe he is going to run around in the woods with his friends and a rain coat whispering, "I know what you did last summer." So what? At least he would be filming something he wants. Isnt that the fun part of being low budget and independent. We all have the freedom to film what we want to, no matter how lame, childish or disturbing.
Anyhow, good luck with all your films everyone!
