Since the old "project" thread was getting dated. I was wondering what projects people are working on this summer and this a question for everyone(composers,fx, screenwriters, filmmakers.) And give a little synapse of what it is about?

Well of course everyone knows I have been trying to get "The Note 2" off the ground. It might be a little more difficult now since I finally landed a job. Plus my actor can't do the movie b/c of job situations. So I have completly re-worked the idea,I am putting myself back in the movie. The movie will pack scares(I will try to do that.), better acting,(I can't act for crap. I know this. I am working on it), and a better score. I will give story details and everything later.

Working on Confessions this summer (see www.tagenter.com for details). We have picked up a professional Producer and he is bringing in a LOT of professional crew people and actors for the project that has kicked this film up about ten notches from where it started as a simple 'little' film. We're in a month of preproduction right now, we shoot in August, and we hope for a quick post. As AD, I'm getting run ragged ... but ya gotta love it!

Hey KidAbyssmal the shots at Kelly Park look amazing. Looks like a good location to shoot. Look forward to seeing how it comes out on the finished film.

Summer's a great time for filmmaking for this 15-year-old amateur director/writer/actor --- school's out and the times are good! I've been busy for about two weeks planning a short "Friday the 13th" fan film with my friends Jeremy, Evan, Chris and Jeffrey. I've begun writing the script and it'll probably be done in a few days (I've lost many hours of sleep because of the d**n thing --- but it's a labour of love, I suppose.) I'm really putting some effort into retaining the series trademarks (lots of blood and gore and the creepy wooded surroundings), but am also tinkering with a few crazy plot twists that'll breath some life into the story. Only time will tell if the film ever actually gets off the ground! Peace... Alex
