Hi, this is a project in production now. I've kind of kept it a secret.
Anyway, it's a horror movie full of gore, violence, and of course my ultimate low-budgetness. (actually no budget).
It's about a teen who is trapped in a house with dogs and must survive on his own. I have a couple shots filmed and plan to start shooting the scenes later tonight or early tomorrow.
Now, I am making sure this will not run in with my other big project right now called Halloween Samhain.

Sounds interesting! I didn't know the title would be so literal hehe. How are you handling filming the dogs? Or are you not really revealing them?

The two dogs are mine, and I just plan to film them normally, but use the shots of the teen boy to help make the shots seem different.
I filmed the beginning to one scene. It will be creepy. I will be filming more in a few minutes.
Yeah, my titles usually are literal... Lol.

I just got done filming a Scene called THE HAND. The plot to it is that the dog's owners disappeared (or at least that what's my character thinks). The Hand is part of the decaying, black mucus covered body. I used one of those surgerical-like gloves, covered it in my Movie Make-Up Black paint and filmed me walking downstairs with it.
Also, you will find out that a lot of the scenes are filmed dark. I don't mean dark as in scary, but dark as not enough light.
I just love movies with that setting.

Principal photography has wrapped up... I mean have to go through and re-film some lines, but the movie is mainly done.

This movie is coming along nicely. I've got about another minute or so of lines left to reshoot, and then from there, we're going to edit this. This film will be sent to the horror anthology and we hope everyone likes it.
If the reviews are good enough, we may start to distribute this film later this year or early next year.
The re-shoots we had to do due to a script/story change that makes more since. This time, he's supposed to watch the dogs while the owner's away and the dogs go insane.
I'd say the hardest part of shooting the re-shoots was shooting the new ending. We didn't have the dogs (they were given away!), so I had to pretend I was killing them when I was really hitting the floor while making dog noises.

Well, Alone With Dogs is now completely done. It's been edited and comes to a whopping time of... 28 Minutes.
