just got this email from Gross Movie Review
Toxic Shock Zombies (DVD) First off this movie is not for the weak-minded and people who do not have any humor at all in their decaying bodies. The movie is made with not taking itself too serious as most ultra-low budget DV zombie films do. They made the movie in the same tone or humor of the South Park cartoon or Adult Swim programs. The short film moves at a brisk 30 minutes, and the DVD also includes commentary, trailer, bloopers, and a CD of the soundtrack of the film. But anyway, the film is about an outbreak of zombies coming from women who are having that time of the month and using tampons that are not really tampons but Zampons! No, Im not fuckin kidding! The bad but fun humor comes fast and furious during the films first 17 minutes. Well, apparently all the women are having their time of the month in this small community and are turning into zombies and in turn are biting and eating other people turning them into zombies. As the blood flows heavy (get it!), its up to two regular guys to take control and go kill the ones wife to try and stop this plague! One of the best highlights is the two brothers throwing their dead grandma into the trunk of their car until they can figure out exactly what they want to do with her since they dont like her. The movie is very funny in my opinion and is fun to watch until the last few minutes which they seemed undecided on how to exactly end the film.
