Oh, that sucks about the bathroom being messed up like that. If she let you use it, she should've realized that gore meant blood. lol. Like the second to the last pic of the guy with that stuff coming out of his mouth. Creepily intriging.

Yeah, haha, usually gore does mean blood will be sprayed. Oh well, we got it sorted out and we're still allowed to shoot there...just have to be EXTRA careful with the blood and this time I'll be getting plastic sheets.

Well I have some pretty sh*tty news. Health Freaks is at a standstill. Schedules were conflicting, and after all of this the lead actor could no longer participate in the movie. Basically, no lead actor, no movie.

But this is what I plan on doing: I'm going to edit together what I have into a demo reel and show it different investors, potential crew members, location owners, all of these people so I can get some REAL money behind this, as well as hiring the RIGHT people for the RIGHT jobs instead of having to rely on friends.

The movie is still going to be made, but we're basically starting from the ground up. I want to get back into filming ASAP, but I have no idea how long it's going to take what with raising money, getting a cast (well, some of the original cast are going to stick with it) and crew, new locations, all of that.

Any tips on how to make a demo reel with what I have? Any advice would be great.

Ah, that sucks. I could cut the demo reel together for you if you want. I'm very good with that sort of thing.

And, when is Domesticating Max gonna get released?

Haha yes, still gotta worry about Domesticating Max too yet. This whole Health Freaks fiasco has really taken a toll on me, and to have it end like this has just sort of sent me into a state of shock and paranoia. Oh well, live and learn, and hopefully we can get the ball rolling again soon.

But as for DMax, I've decided that I probably will just post it on the internet. Just a matter of uploading it to a site that will allow me to do it at its best quality instead of the dark and blurry quality that the trailer was. I'm working on it though.

And thanks for the offer, but I do want to cut it together myself. But if you want I can use all the suggestions I can get. I've done trailers before, just not demo reels. I mean I really don't know where to start. Why don't you drop me a line at [e-mail] and maybe we can swap ideas? I can send you some of the stuff we've shot (if possible) and maybe we can come up with something.

Again, this is not necessarily a normal trailer, this is more of a demo reel to interest producers, crew memebers, people of that nature...but then again that's what a trailer is too...ah screw it, just take a look and let us know what you think! It's a bit dark in spots, and the font is a little hard to read at times, but mostly because I had to make the file fit on the site.
