HEALTH FREAKS! The upcoming gory horror-comedy from Ransom Pictures will start the cameras this coming Saturday, July 21st, and The Press Gym a few miles north of St. Paul, MN. Here's the plot...
For two comic book loving janitors working at Health and Fitness Plus, things are about to get a little messy. When Sammy Rocanter brings his new, muscle stimulating Freakazoid Energy Drink to the health club, it's obvious that the drink still has a few kinks in it. Bodies are mutating, weightlifting is becoming a little more violent, and the club members are beginning to turn into violent, psychopathic freaks, not to mention the abnormal snarling coming from the boiler room! Joe and Alex aren't heroes, but they're going to have to be more than janitors if they want to surive this insane bloodbath of mutants, toxic energy drinks, and Jehovah's Witnesses!
It's going to be a huge undertaking (it already has been) but the end result will definitely be worth it. Tons of gore, sexyness, bloody good action, and more! I'll keep you posted!
This project has been in the making for over a year now, and it's a project that's very close to my heart. Last summer we started filming it but everything started falling apart and we had to postpone it. Hopefully everything will go much smoother this time! Wish us luck!
