Hey all. My names Sonny Fernandez. I actually just signed a distribution deal with Brain Damage films so the film should be on your local movie rental shops shelves sometime next year. The movie is about a group of teenagers who wake up one night from horrible nightmares, they get dressed walk out into the dead of night and meet up confused and alone on a desolate street corner. With no idea how they got there, or any memory of having gotten out of bed they decide to just head back home. On their way however, they quickly realize that there are things loose in the town; things with horns and tails, ghost like apparitions that appear before their eyes and horrible monsters that make their eyes bleed. They find out that their parents are gone, the police station is abandoned and when they try to leave town, they end up right back where they started from. Even worse...the monsters they keep encountering seem strangly familiar. As time passes relationships form, bonds come to pass and anger erupts. But it isn’t long before they discover that they are not alone, there are strange shoe prints around their home. Soon, they will discover that there are far worse things than monsters on the loose. The movie runs at a whopping 2 1/2 hours (not sure if Brain Damage is going to cut it down or not) and is downright epic. We'll have a website up soon with the trailer and stuff, 'till then. Here's a few select pics. If you folks like these, I'll gladly put up more. Regardless, please let me know what you think. Here's some examples of our gunshot effects.

Last but not least, here's some random shots from the movie that I love- Oh and here's a behind the scenes shot of me and a favorite creation- I know some of these shots are dark and blurry, granted, it's a dark film, I kept it as grainy as possible and purposely underlit a lot of things, these pics make it look a lot worse than it is though. The flick is a labor of love for me and it's pretty different than anything that's out there. I guarantee whatever you think this movie is about...forget about it...there are no standard cliches here. Please let me know what you think of the pics.

Looks good -- I'm trying to imagine how that giant claw gets used in your movie. Have any more pics you can put up?

Ah yes, that hand. I worked on that thing for about a month, it was for the big finish at the end of the movie, I wanted something BIG and cool, kind of let people out in a big way. So I built it, made it so it'd move around and everything, got it out to the location...and the d**n thing didn't work at all, two fingers fell off, one of the fingernails blew away in the wind, we shot with it anyway, but it just didn't work. So pictures and the deleted scenes is the only place it's ever going to show it's face, which is a shame because man, I loved that thing and the idea. One day it'll come back. I got lots more pics though, once the website is up (by the end of this month hopefully) you'll all be able to see the trailer and whatnot. I'm still getting everything ready for Brain Damage, so we're not even close to a release date, but until all that, here's a bunch more images.

I like the artwork on the homepage. Was it difficult keeping your cast together for a year while you filmed the movie? They must have been pretty dedicated -- same goes for you. What movies were influences for your film?

My main man Scot Jones did all the artwork for the site. It took him a long time so I imagined he worked pretty hard on it. He loves doing it though, so I guess even though it was difficult, he didn't mind.
Yeah, we filmed for about a year but the way I shot Bleed, we'd film for about 2-3 hours once or twice a week, which isn't so bad. I put them through a lot of stuff, but they're coming back for the new flick so I guess they enjoy it, or maybe they're into torture...I dunno.
I'm ridiculously dedicated, when I'm making a flick it pretty much becomes my life until it's done.
Actually, no movies really influenced Bleed, I know it sounds kind of nuts but it's completely original. There's never really been anything like it...if I thought we were doing something in the movie that even resembled something else I'd chuck it out right away. I wanted people to experience something new and unexpected. I hope I succeeded, the audience will have to let me know.

I'm just curious, what did you film Bleed on? What type of camera and what format? Also, what kind of lighting did you use?
